175 LEX - Walkable Downtown, Rupp Arena, Keeneland

My stay was very relaxing. Positive: It was very comfortable, and clean. Negative: NA

The property was not cleaned prior to stay. Positive: Location was perfect in downtown Lexington. Negative: The apartment desperately needed cleaning. Dirty sock under pillow on sofa upon arrival… Strands of hair on sofa. Broken furniture. Looked like blood stains on bathtub mat and dirty shower liner. Dusty window sills and furniture. Haunting first impression. Photos sent to host, no response.

Would stay again. Positive: The location is ideal. Away from the noise but everything was close by. The room was modern and the views were great. I LOVED when I found out about the parking garage beneath the building. The building itself was very secure with door codes. I felt very safe once inside. Negative: There were a lot of unhoused people that gathered and aproached every few feet. Luckily the lobby has a safe area to wait for Ubers and such.

Positive: I really enjoyed the quality of the space and the simple check-in and check-out process. Negative: The only thing I can think of is the hallways smelled like subway when the subway downstairs was open. It didn't affect the rooms, so it's not a real complaint.

This is my second stay at 175 LEX though in different apts. each terrific !
